OCL 102 - Valentine Treat Container

Happy Monday!

This week's OCL Challenge is to use a fabric or felt heart. I decided to make a Valentine's Day treat container for a very cute lad. Can you guess who?

Yes, Harry!

I also put his picture on top:

I started by covering an empty Crystal Light container with doggie patterned paper. The brown felt heart was cut with a Sizzix die. Using Word, I printed Harry's name on Marina Mist CS and hand-cut the bone name tag.

Other supplies used: EK Success Paw Print border punch (Marina Mist CS) and MS Grass border punch (Always Artichoke CS), Marina Mist Ribbon, and OCL Pat the Good Dog stamp set.

And, the inside:

I got the idea for the layout of the card here.

With this week's combined challenge, there are two chances to win. Link your color challenge card on the Lily Pad Cards blog (by Thu., Jan. 19 @ 11:59 PM). The design team will be judging the entries and one lucky participant will be awarded a $20.00 gift certificate to OCL. Also, by linking your card on the OCL blog (by Thu., Jan. 12 @ 11:59 PM), you will be included in the monthly prize drawing of a stamp set of your choice. The dates are correct--the Lily Pad Cards challenge is open for two weeks and the OCL challenge is open for one week.

Thanks for stopping by. I wish you a very crafty weekend.
