I4U Project #9

Happy Thursday! Today I am sharing with you Project #9 from the current Inkspirations4U session. This album is made with two 12x12 sheets of DSP plus card stock. It is a cute album with four pull-outs, so there is room for lots of pictures. My niece's Sweet Sixteen Party is this weekend and I will be giving this album to my mother with pictures from the party. Supplies used: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, & Night of Navy card stock, Delicate Dots DSP (retired), and Bashful Blue 1/4 grosgrain ribbon (retired). I created the sentiment in Word using RGB values for Night of Navy. The dress is Bashful Blue with a Vellum overlay. I got the idea for the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder dress here. Thanks for stopping by.

p.s. Go Yankees!

I4U Project #8

Happy Tuesday!

Project #8 at Inkspirations4U was a take on an exploding box. If you have been following me for awhile, you know I love to create exploding boxes.

Here is my project closed:

The inside is a bit different than my typical exploding boxes. This project has some fun pop-ups and a stand-up gift card holder.

So, here it is open:

Can you see the snowflakes? They are Shimmer White card stock with bling in the middle. Everyone was doing butterflies and flowers, so I decided to be a rebel and look ahead to a Christmas gift. I still need to add pictures and I will give this to my brother Kevin.

Supplies used: Old Olive, Real Red, & Very Vanilla card stock, Dashing DSP (retired), Fireside Christmas & Punches Three stamp sets (both retired), and bling & gold glimmer brads. The popped-up poinsettias were spritzed with Champagne shimmer mist.

Thanks for stopping by.

I4U Project #5

Happy Tuesday!

Well, Project #5 at Inkspirations4U really 'knocked my socks off!' Can you guess what it was made with?

Here is the front view of my version:

And, the top view:

Yes, you guessed correctly--the Mini Milk Carton die!

Supplies used: Brushed Silver & Night of Navy card stock, Afterthoughts, Bliss, Fresh Cuts, & Silhouette Sentiments stamp sets, adhesive bling, and ribbon from M's.

I so love this project and will definitely make more versions of it.

Happy crafting!

I4U Project #3

Happy Friday!

The Spring and Easter Edition of Inkspirations4U is in full swing. Project #3 is an Easter basket.

The basket is Chocolate Chip and So Saffron card stock along with Delicate Dots (retired) DSP. The Chocolate Bunnies were stamped on Close to Cocoa and embossed with clear powder. I used the 'Elegant' image from Bliss and hand-cut the Easter eggs. The sentiment is from my well-loved Well Scripted (retired) set.

Happy crafting!

Pink/Red/White Christmas Card Challenge

Happy Friday!

Back in January I posted my Christmas Tea Set that I created for Flourishes' Recycle & Reuse Christmas challenge. I was the lucky winner of that challenge and chose Christmas Classics for my prize. Actually, Wolfgang chose the set! I had whittled my decision down to three or four sets and showed them to Wolfgang. He loved the cardinal image in the Christmas Classics set, so that is what I picked. I now refer to it as 'our stamp set.'

Flourishes' February Christmas challenge was to create a pink/red/white card. Of course I had to use my new set!

The card base is Rosebud Metallic. The Northern Flurry embossed layer (sponged with Pretty in Pink) and inside layer are Arctic Snow. Both papers are by The Paper Company. The image was stamped and embossed on Naturals White, colored with markers, and layered on Real Red. I used a little pearl for his eye. The inside sentiment was stamped in Regal Rose.
I plan to go with this design for our Christmas cards this year and am debating on using either Always Artichoke or Garden Green for the card base. Any input on which color you prefer with Real Red would be appreciated :)
Thanks for stopping by. I wish you a wonderful weekend.
